Overview
SNM systems are developed to provide electrical stimulation to sacral nerves for the regulation of bladder reflex arcs. By modulating abnormal neural signaling associated with urinary dysfunction, these systems are primarily used for the treatment of refractory overactive bladder and urinary incontinence, helping improve urinary control and reduce urgency and frequency symptoms.Following the approval of our first SNM product by the NMPA in 2018, we continued to advance and diversify our SNM product matrix through successive technological upgrades and product iterations.
SNM systems deliver continuous low-frequency electrical stimulation pulses to targeted sacral nerves to modulate dysfunctional sacral reflex pathways by either activating or inhibiting neural signals, thereby regulating the function of the bladder and related pelvic organs and improving symptoms associated with overactive bladder, including urge urinary incontinence, urinary urgency and/or urinary frequency. The following diagram illustrates the working mechanism of our SNM systems.
